My HP ENVY x360 laptop is locked for lack of a BitLocker Recovery key. How can I fix this issue?

What is the full model number or product number of the notebook?
If it is 5 or less years old, you can make a bootable USB recovery drive with the HP cloud recovery tool.

If the PC is more than 5 years old, you will have to clean install Windows by making a bootable USB installation flash drive with the Microsoft media creation tool for W10 or W11 as applicable from the links below:
