Hi,

I installed a Guide to Windows 10 Update and noticed that my external drive files were missing after the update. I am not sure if I inadvertently formatted the drive or deleted some files. I noticed a dialog box running for a long time and hit cancel, hoping nothing was affected. But I find many files and folders missing from the external drive. Is there a tool that will help me to recover the files. Thank you for your help in advance.

Best Regards

Bagavan

You may be able to recover files/folders which were not overwritten.  Please try
