I have clean it and I used mx4 thermal paste.

On win xp I run a stability test with Aida 64 and after 10 minutes the CPU temperature was 65 Celsius stable I run into the CPU info's by Intel and the maximum temperature is 100 Celsius.

Shut down happens after reboot to continue the win 7 installation

Do you have been used the 32 bits disc?? Because your PC can not accept the 64 bit version.

And what memory do you have? Do you have replace it? Your PC can only use SO-DIMM PC2-5300, up to 4 Gb.

Dimms are 2 gb each

So your memory is been compatible. Your computer was bought in 2008, so you have a SATA hard drive.

You can try the two options for SATA native mode but I think the best is the default option.

I will try to install all drivers on win xp and then install like the way you suggested me windows 7

I don't know what else I can do

Is it possible this shut down happens because a driver fault ?

HP Recommended

All is possible even tough normally you just need to have an error during installation. However you don't have drivers for Windows 7 on this PC here:
