Around Christmas 2019 I bought a new HP Envy x360 15-ee0000na and I love it! However recently I have noticed a weird vibrating noise + feeling coming from the left side of my laptop from the fan (like in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkCLubSukzI). I ignored it for a while but during a light gaming sesh the fan started spinning like crazy as if it were an aeroplane and I shut it off immediately to avoid any further problems.
I recorded the light vibration sounds to show TeamKnowHow at Curry's PC World a few days later, then had it sent off to a repair centre for repair under warranty and it was returned a few days later, however the problem persisted and the fan almost sounds worse so I rang them up and they said "The repair team didn't open up the inside of the laptop and found that the problem came from an outdated BIOS system so it was updated and left open for 1 hour for testing. They didn't see any problems and said that if there are any further problems then the HP fan is just naturally loud so there's nothing that can be done." We chatted for around 30 minutes and I got literally no where so I just hung up and decided to come on here to see if there are any possible fixes?
I've noticed that the laptop only makes weird sounds when
- It's plugged in for charge
- Long durations of use (like when I study or work)
- Gaming
I've tried everything from changing battery power settings, turning off HP Sense Cool, personally opening the laptop up to see if there are any problems...
please help!
