HP Recommended

I have a ho laptop that I bought from a pawn shop. It already has an account made in it. The owner didn't reset it when it was opened or sold to the pawn shop. I'm trying to reset it for the second time. Is there anyway I kind get into this pc other than resetting it?

HP Recommended

Create a bootable USB drive and perform a clean Windows installation using it. Boot from the USB, select Custom: Install Windows only, then delete the Windows drive and all of its related partitions. Select the resulting unallocated space and click Next to install Windows. That’s all.

Note: This will permanently erase all data on the selected drive. Back up any important files before proceeding.

If system support doesn't support windows 11, install windows 10- https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_3102863-2949936-16
