I was simply trying to play a DVD in my HP laptop but it wouldn’t play and I was instructed to download power media player at a cost so I tried to avoid it and found other power media player which can be installed without cost. After struggling to install, I believed it installed finally but the dvd still couldn’t be played! so tried restarting the laptop to uninstall power media player which was already in the system previously but I couldn’t uninstall as the message prompted I need to stop it first before uninstalling but I couldn’t find the way to stop it.Anyway after all this confusion the operating system stopped working and then I tried to recover in diagnostic mode in various ways but nothing worked. Now I can’t have the operating system! Any help appreciated

Please download the following FREE video player, It will play nearly all types of media formats including BD:
https://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-winrt.html
To play DVD or BD movies (or may be CD musics) the very first time, you may need to Open Dics
