So my computer had an operating system failure and I tried resetting it twice and both could not be completed, now all I have is a blank screen. I had it for two weeks

Hi,

OK that's good.

Specs: http://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c05214762

You can either order recovery USB from HP specific to your model with a charge

http://support.hp.com/in-en/document/bph07143

Or

Clean install Windows 10 Home 64 bit, that came with your notebook from factory, using Microsoft windows media creation tool by creating bootable installation USB.

Option 1: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2376-usb-flash-drive-create-install-windows-10-a.html

Windows will be automatically activated after installation while connected to internet.

Hi,

Tap away F2 key as soon as you power on laptop. Do extensive hard drive and memory testing. Let it finish.

How did you do factory reset, by tapping f11 key as soon as you power on laptop?

Do you have Recovery USB created after first setup of this notebook?
