I'm trying to factory reset my laptop and it keeps telling me..could not find the recovery environment how can I fix this

Hello @Shayah1 

 

For whatever reason, the recovery partition may have gone corrupted. You should create your own recovery drive (USB drive) and use it to reinstall Windows.

 

  • If you use Windows 8 / 8.1 on this device, follow the steps in the PDF file called Heidoc-Rufus.pdf (below)
  • If you use Windows 10 on this device, follow the steps in the PDF file called Clean Windows 10 Installation.pdf  (below)
