For all having issue with hp victus after bios version 10 update i will find a solution for this. don't let any service technicians to replace your motherboard. pls do the below mentioned steps .

3. copy all three folders in to that usb drive
4. connect the pendrive to any one usb port of your hp victus laptop

Its been 10 days waiting for HP technicians or any follow up from them.
The issue clearly was the faulty BIOS and rolling back seemed to be an obvious solution but HP technicians want to replace motherboard, display etc. Poor diagonisis from them.
This weekend I tried a lot ot create a BIOS recovery USB drive using the HP tool. But the tool just wont work on any laptop I tried. Finally I did the above as mentioned 8BitKerala's post and it worked like a charm. 🙂
