Hello @boobiereyes

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

If your are the owner of this device and if the PC originally came with Windows preinstalled by HP, you may use the official HP Cloud Recovery tool to restore your laptop to original factory-default condition, the way you initially received it. This will help you restore/reinstall Windows, drivers, HP apps, etc.

Here is the official article >> https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05115630

The tool supports HP Elitebook 840 G3/G4/G5/G6, not sure which generation of Elitebook is yours. You may check your PC model by following these steps here >> http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00033108

Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes.
