Hello,
My laptop has an original windows 10. when it is first open it gives you an option to choose between English (England) and Turkish language. Anyway The laptop was sent to support team and they did factory rest and changed the language to Turkish. I am trying to change the language of windows to English but it can not. I choose settings, then Time and Language, then Language, then add language. But when I choose English the package does not include windows display. So after adding the language when I go to change the windows display language this added language does not appear as an option and I only still see the Turkish language only. In other words it seems that language package does not include windows display, although if did factory rest I will be able to change to English but in this case I will not able able to change again to Turkish if i want. in addition factory rest will lead to loss of all data.

Thank you for posting back.
Firstly, perform Windows Update and HP Support Assistant: (do not skip any troubleshooting steps if you feel steps are repeating)
To check for updates now, select the Start button, and then go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update, and select Check for updates.
Install updates from HP Support Assistant: Go to Download HP Support Assistant to install the tool.
- To open HP Support Assistant, double-click the HP Support Assistant icon
.
- Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
- Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
- Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
- Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
- Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.
And, also run BIOS Update: Follow steps from the link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c00042629
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Sorry I was late to give you my feedback but making the steps in Turkish language was somewhat difficult. I made the suggested steps but this do not fix the problem. ANyway I feel I discovered the cause. Some tell me that some windows versions that come with the laptop support only one language? is this true?

Yes, few versions of Windows OS are Single language editions.
- Select the Start button, select Settings > About, and then scroll down to the Windows specification section.
- If you see Windows 10 Home Single Language next to Edition, you have a single language edition of Windows 10, and you can't add a new language unless you purchase an upgrade to either Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Pro.
If not, you can add an input language, set a display language, or install a language pack in Settings to change the language that you use for Windows 10, apps, and websites. Adding an input language lets you set a language-preference order for websites and apps, as well as change your keyboard language.
For more info, kindly refer to Manage your input and display language settings in Windows 10
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
