Possibly because you do not have 1803 installed yet. The patch I believe was released at Update Catolgue for users who installed 1803 before MS began blocking it and have been experiencing crashes. It should be offered to you as a package in 1803 via Windows Update. MS statement is to wait till the update is offered.

You might want to try clearing out your update cache and restart windows update service to see if 1803 downloads again and installs:

Dear CherylG,
I was thinking yesterday something stuck in the Update, and should be deleted. But I couldn't reach the required folder.
Now your advise is worked. I could reach the SoftwareDistribution/Download folder, deleted its content, after I restart the Update and see miracles the 1083 Update is worked properly.
So many thanks for this advice.
Best Regards,
Attila

I just realized why you don't have the button. Only the original poster who started the thread has that option. I didn't realize this was thread started by someone else until I checked,:smileyhappy: I could move you to a new thread but then the OP won't see this solution. Although it seems he has abandoned the thread and hasn't replied in awhile.
