Hello Sir, I have Hp Notebook 1000 Core i3 2nd Gen 2gb Ram with pre install Windows 7 Home Version Original. I wanted to install windows 10 in it. I tried to install Windows 10 in it, but the old Disk and partition is not being formatted. So, Then i tried to solve it in different ways. Like clean, format and override the disk with PromtCmd while installing new windows. but nothing happen and old windows also not starting. Then i have a friend same laptop and check it. There Hp Recovery Manager was installed and hard drive was secure and locked with recovery manager tool (Hp). I have create a USB Recovery media and tried to restore in it but it gives error and wont happen. Now what can it do for solve this problem ? Its brand New laptop.

@Shehryar2, Welcome to HP Support Community!

In that case, you will have to order recovery media. Refer to the document https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/bph07143 for help.
