Hi @210-1010nr

It sounds like your HP Mini laptop is experiencing a few issues. Here are some steps to address them:

If the battery shows 100% charged but dies when unplugged, it may be failing. Consider replacing the battery, as it might not hold a charge anymore.

Check Battery Health: You can check the battery health using Windows:

  • Open Command Prompt as an administrator.
  • Type powercfg /batteryreport and press Enter.
  • This will generate a battery report that you can review for issues.

Reinstall Battery Drivers: Sometimes, reinstalling the battery drivers can help:

  • Open Device Manager.
  • Expand Batteries, right-click on Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery, and choose Uninstall device.
  • Restart your laptop, and Windows will reinstall the driver.

Addressing Program Issues: If you keep getting the Recycle Bin popup when opening applications, it could be due to a stuck key on your keyboard or a software issue:

  • Check your keyboard for stuck keys, especially the "Delete" key or other related keys.
  • You can also try running a malware scan to rule out any software issues.

I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
