I'm having problems copying and pasting

You have not provided any useful context in your question.

 

For example,

What is your Operating System and version - this is vital information since Windows is not Mac and Mac is not Linux

Which software (program) you are using - what are you trying to accomplish?

What is your computer model name / product number (do not post the serial number as it is not allowed)

 

And importantly,

What kind of difficulty?

Is copy / paste not working?

Does copy / paste work but it is not providing the results you expect?

 

For example, using copy / paste in Word is likely not going to work as you expect.  Instead, use "Insert" to add an image to your document.  If you are using copy / paste in Word to add text / table data, be sure to "merge" the formatting to ensure the data added to the document matches the format of that document.
