I've hp notebook 15-bw096au. My pc has installed windows 10 pirated version and i want to switch on genuine version. I've created bootable usb from media creation tool. When i tried to boot from usb using f9 bios key and select usb, pc restart and stuck on hp logo with multiple vertical lines(screenshot attached). Same response on advance option. Help to install windows 10. Thanks in advance.

Depending on what you actually have, a reinstallation might not be needed at all. Most pirated versions are legitimate Windows versions but they use an activation tool to fake the activation. If this is the case, you will find a KMS utility running in the background.
In these cases, when you then purchase a legal version, you get a legal product key with that. All then you need to do is two things: (1) remove the KMS utility, (2) use the Windows function to change the product key to the legal one you purchased.
When you reboot, you will have a legitimate version of Windows.

OK, so when you boot into an installer, like booting into the BIOS, Windows drivers are not being loaded -- so any video artifacts like this tend to indicate screen failures. Do you still get these lines when booting into the BIOS, or only when trying to boot the USB stick?

IF it was a screen hardware issue, it would show ALL the time.
But since it only shows when booting into the USB stick, it's a problem with that media.
