I was formatting an old hdd but by mistake i formatted the RECOVERY partition (E :), can i recover it somehow? What problems will it cause in the future?

Okay makes perfect sense now. I believe the laptop still works and be sure not to tamper with your drive any further. If you need to recover your system in the future, just use the HP Cloud Recovery Tool.

So the only way to recover this patition is to factory reset the laptop using HP cloud recovery tool ? If yes, i can use a system image to restore all my data ?

Actually, the HP Cloud Recovery Tool acts as a recovery partition but in USB form. All you need to do when your computer is giving you challenges is to use the tool.

There is a tool from Aomei that can recover partitions BUT BE CAREFUL it can also mess you up if you don't watch what you are doing! https://www.aomeitech.com/pa/standard.html
