The error code 0x80073cfa typically occurs when attempting to uninstall apps that are provisioned with the operating system, such as HP Jumpstart. Here’s how you can resolve this issue.
Use PowerShell to Remove HP Jumpstart
Open PowerShell as Administrator:
- Press Windows + X and select Windows PowerShell (Admin).
Run the Command to Remove HP Jumpstart:
- In the PowerShell window, type the following command and press Enter:
Get-AppxPackage *HPJumpStart* | Remove-AppxPackage
- This command will forcefully uninstall HP Jumpstart.
Use the Settings App
Open Settings:
- Press Windows + I to open the Settings app.
Navigate to Apps:
- Go to Apps > Apps & features.
Locate HP Jumpstart:
- Scroll down and find HP Jumpstart in the list of installed apps.
Uninstall:
- Click on HP Jumpstart and select Uninstall. Confirm any prompts that appear.
Reset the Microsoft Store
If the error persists, you may need to reset the Microsoft Store, which manages apps installed from the store.
Reset the Store:
