I continue to be amazed by all the people that appear to think that a factory reset is a Miracle Cure to anything that ails a PC when, if there is ANY hardware issue (which is usually WHY they do this) the reset is guaranteed to fail and trash the PC as a result -- which appears to be what happened to yours.

 

So, what was the issue you were trying to solve with the reset?

 

How old is the laptop?
