I am using Folio 9480m and I really want to update to Windows 11. But my computer does not have TPM 2.0, I just have TPM 1.2. I don't know how to solve this problem. I heard that we can upgrade it, but I dont know how to do it.
Therefore, if you know, please show me the way to upgarde. I will be very appreciated!
Thanks for all!
P/s: I'm using Folio 9480m.

Hi:
Unfortunately that is not possible for your notebook. It is too old.
The only PC's where you can upgrade the TPM from version 1.2 to 2.0 are listed below...
Your notebook will not be supported for W11 even if it had a TPM 2.0 device because it does not have an Intel 8th gen core processor, which is the minimum processor requirement.

You're system may run on Windows 11 nevertheless. Apparently there are ways around the 'hardware' checks while setup. Keep searching the internet, i'm sure you'll find the way to do it, latest after the official release date beg. of october.

You can install Win11 on (almost) any x64 capable device if you do a full (clean) install. Back up your data, then create installation media and boot from it. When on the WinPE installation screen hit Shift-F10 and enter the following commands:
REG ADD "HKLM\SYSTEM\Setup\LabConfig" /v "BypassTPMCheck" /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f
REG ADD "HKLM\SYSTEM\Setup\LabConfig" /v "BypassSecureBootCheck" /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f
REG ADD "HKLM\SYSTEM\Setup\LabConfig" /v "BypassRAMCheck" /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f
REG ADD "HKLM\SYSTEM\Setup\LabConfig" /v "BypassStorageCheck" /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f
REG ADD "HKLM\SYSTEM\Setup\LabConfig" /v "BypassCPUCheck" /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f
After that, exit and continue installation normally. No need to install TPM module, new processor or other stuff.
Managed to install on a Elitebook Folio G1 without problems.
