Product: hp pavilion g6 1117tx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

i try to update  windows 7 by control panel but some updates got installed and others are not download then i try from official website of microsoft there is the best option available but need to enter a product i entered it but after confrimation that website told me to connect your product manufacturer as you so give me the link to update my operating system.

Let's clarify some things, please:

 

1) You want to update Windows 7 Home Basic - update this Windows

or

2) You want to upgrade from Windows 7 Home Basic to a different Windows 7 edition

or

3) You want to upgrade from Windows 7 Home Basic to Windows 8/10 ?  If yes, which Win 8 or 10 edition ?

 

 

If (2) or (3) :

- what is the reason

- do you have the product key for this Windows 7 edition you want to upgrade to ? Where from ?
