Hi.
I have the following laptop with Windows 10 installed. I was wondering if I could install Windows 11 and if everything will be working as it should.
HP Pavilion G6-1270si (A3Y48EA), AMD RS880M chipset, AMD Quad Core A6-3400M, AMD Radeon HD 6540G2 GPU.
I recently upgraded to 8gb ram and installed a 512gb ssd drive.
Thank you very much.

Don't know. Microsoft states devices with bypassed requirements get no security updates, etc. even if you did registry hack from YouTube and update windows using windows update. And try rollback within 10 days, rollback via Settings > Recovery > Go back may fail if flags/registry changes.
It's doing this its better to backup your important data first. Personally I don't recommend you to do that as windows 11 is full of bloatwares, AI now. If you want to try, you can but backup your data first. If didn't work correctly then clean install windows 10 using bootable usb for smooth installation.

No, the HP Pavilion G6-1270si Notebook PC does not officially meet Windows 11's minimum hardware requirements, primarily due to its 2011-era AMD A6-3400M processor.
You can bypass checks to install Windows 11 using methods like Rufus for a bootable USB (modifying ISO to skip TPM/Secure Boot/CPU requirements) or registry edits during setup from a Windows 10 in-place upgrade. Which you will find on YouTube about how to install it on unsupported system. Nut remember, Microsoft warns of no liability, possible lack of monthly updates long-term, bad performance if weak system and hardware-specific bugs.

Hi.
Thank you for the info. If I install Windows 11 and there are issues that make the system unstable or unusable, will I be able to roll back to Windows 10 without having to format?
Thanks.

Sounds like Windows 11 is not such a good idea.
Mean while I have joined the Extended Security Updates thing that Microsoft has on offer for Windows 10.
Don't know if you have seen it but it gives support for Security updates but no system updates. and is only valid for a year if I remember correctly.
Thank you for all your help.
