HP Envt 14 TS
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When Window 10 came out I upgraded my Envy 14 TS from Windos 8.1 to Windows 10. The Laptop has wroked well with this upgrade and various vesion upgrades for the last few years, but shortly after the last version upgrade, I i belief is was Version 1709, the system no longer boots up.  I am even  unable to reistall Windows 10. I have my data backed up elsewher so I don't mind starting fresh, but I keep on getting message that it can't install Windows. How can I get this machine back up and runnig.

If you can't boot the PC, even from external media, you're not going to be able to reinstall Win10.

 

So, please provide more details about how you are trying to boot it and what is happening when you do.


We can proceed when you provide the information.

I had a friend look at my Laptop and he was able to reinstall Windows 10 on the C drive. BUT he needed to eliminate the Raid configuration detting between the C drive and the 24GB cache.

I have not used the Laptop much since this new installation, but it is  slower now.

How can we install Windows 10 and keep the Raid configuration in takt.

I finally managed to reinstall Windows 10 Home, and set up the Intel Rapid Raid Technology settings.

Laptops works well EXEPT after the lapttop come back from the sleep mode I again get a Stope Code Error Message Video Management Memmory Internal.

That is how my original problem started.

I have loaded the HP recommended IDT audio drivers and RealTech Network adaptor drivers.

Any suggestions?
