Pavilion x360 Convertible
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My daughter's 18 month old Pavilion x360 notebook with Windows 10 64-bit has recently started running really slowly. The BIOS version is Insyde F.38 13/10/2015 which is pretty old, so I thought this might be the problem. However, although I could download the latest BIOS F.49 Rev. A from the HP website it would not automatically install on the notebook. Then after a bit more troubleshooting I noticed in device manager that the Intel Trusted Execution Engine Interface had an exclamation mark against it with the message 'This device cannot start (Code 10) STATUS_DEVICE_POWER_FAILURE'. The driver version is 2.0.0.1094 11/10/15. I tried disabling/re-enabling the device and also automatically updating the device driver but neither of these solved the issue. Could this be the cause of the slow running and BIOS install issues? Has anybody come across this before and if so have you managed to solve it?

Hello Banhien - thank you for replying so quickly. The product number of the notebook is N7H59EA#ABU. This is a really annoying problem which I hope has a reasonaby straightforward solution. If I could update the BIOS maybe that would help, but I can't install the downloaded BIOS file automatically. When I restart the notebook after running the BOS update utility, it simply restarts without installing the new BIOS.

Ignore the first item (3D Drive guard) on the Driver-Chipset list, please download and re-install others from the following link
