I've recently performed system resets on my laptop because the screen would stay blank at power-up. The first reset seemed to have done the trick, but the issue occurred again so it's now been reset twice. I also recovered the BIOS via Win+B.
Since this, at startup, there's a message saying that some product information is invalid: Product Name, Product S/N, Product Number, and System Board CT Number.
Looking through the forums, it seems that invalid S/Ns occur when the System Board has been replaced... but my laptop hasn't been serviced in about 2 years. I tried to find my CT Number at startup (using Esc and F1), but no number was displayed, only grey fuzz!
I don't know where I should go from here. I tried to locate an HP Service Centre near my city but got no results. I did purchase my laptop from Currys PC World - is this something they should be able to help with?
I'd be really grateful for any advice.
Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
