IMG_2617.jpegIMG_2613.jpegHi Guys. My bad in a sense. I stuffed up an upgrade from Windows 11 Home to Windows 11 Pro 64 bit. An operating system can’t be found. I deleted partitions, except the OS Drive C. I deleted a Recovery Partition also, thinking another would be created with a new, clean install. I set the BIOS Boot order to boot from a USB. However, the Boot Manager, although, has the arrow next to it, is the second option in order. Should or can I change from UEFI? I tried installing different operating systems without luck. Recover this device in BIOS falls over too, even though I have Wi-Fi connection. Error messages have photos attached. I can't get a hold of a Hiren's Boot Disk, if that was going to help. Thanks of any help. Otherwise, I'll have to see what HP can do as it is partway through the 12 month warranty. This is the error messageThis is the error message

HP is removing cloud recovery for system over 5 years old.
The actual wording is a limited time after the warranty expires
You may want to get a copy of the cloud recovery before it is too late.
Cloud recovery provides all the custom HP drivers.
Go here and enter your product ID including the 3 characters after the # character
If you have cloud recovery you can restore your system using a 64gb flash.
It may take an hour or more to create the recovery USB.
Alternately, download from the MS windows store

Many commercial or "business" laptops have an alternate recovery tool different from that cloud.

You do not upgrade from W11 Home to W11 Pro by clean installing W11 Pro.

If you clean install Windows, all you would get is W11 Home again because Windows will pick up the W11 Home product key in the BIOS.

After you restore the original HP factory image on the drive with the HP cloud recovery tool, see this link for how to upgrade Windows from Home to Pro:

Have to be able to get the cloud recovery first, sadly. Thanks for the upgrade information though.
