@FernandoEgues

Welcome to HP Forums Community,

I suggest running a hardware test to identify the cause of the failure and here's how you do it:

  1. Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.

  2. Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.

  3. On the main menu, click Component Tests.

  4. The Component Tests menu displays.

    Your Component Tests menu might be different, depending on the components installed on your computer.

  5. Keyboard Test - This interactive test checks the keyboard. This test requires a keyboard.

    To run the test, click the Keyboard, and then click Run once.

    The Keyboard Test time is 3 minutes.

Get back to us with the 24 character failure ID for further assistance.

@FernandoEgues was the recovery done using the F11 key or was it a retail copy of windows? Since the tests have passed and yet the keyboard isn't working, you've got two options:

You can either make use of an external USB keyboard and use that to check if it works, or order the recovery media from HP using this link for details: Click here & use that to reinstall windows using HP defaults to resolve the issue.

2) Click on "Continue as guest".

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Click on "Show Options".
