HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-es0000 IDS Base Model

My Envy 15t  keyboard and Touch-pad both work in UEFI & pass component tests. They DO NOT work in Windows or in safe mode. In Device Manager I have two listings for i2C HID devices, the first is OK, the second is flagged. Flagged i2C lists: Events- Device configured (hid12c.inf) and then Device not started(hidi2c)

I'm running a new installation of Win 11(24H2) after deleting the original windows partition(explained below). USB external mouse/keyboard work and computer functions normally except for keyboard/touch-pad and touchscreen.

Device manager reports Touchpad "working " (driver is the most current). Keyboards entry lists 3 HID keyboards and a Standard PS/2 keyboard all "working" normally.

Original problem was a non-responsive touchscreen. After a safe-mode restart, I got a BIOS reset message and everything cascaded from there. Black/blank login screen in addition to no HIDs  working. Ran down all of the  fixes I could find here and on MS site but bitlocker foiled me. At that point i deleted the partition and did a clean install.

Thanks for any help

I've worked through at least 5 posed solutions and nothing is working.

I updated the touch-pad problem drivers and it went from a generic to a Synaptics device but still not working.  As suggested in another thread, i disabled the Intel Integrated Sensor Solution and restarted - no change.

Win+x+power key did not work

I uninstalled all HID devices and did a restart, no progress.

The I2C driver that is flagged in device manager is the Elan fingerprint driver & The working I2C driver is for the touchpad
