Hello, I don't like to always flip my laptop and see it's model number. But when I go to settings and system info, for some reason instead of showing the full laptop name which is 15s-du2002tu, it just shows 15s-du2xxx. Can someone please tell me why it doesn't show the full name and just shows xxx ?

Hi:
That is because this is the new way that HP labels its products which makes it very difficult for us to help folks when they post the 15s-du2xxx for example and not the 15s-du2002tu, for which we can look up the product specifications.
Basically, the 15s-du2xxx is the model number for the entire series, and the 15s-du2002tu is the specific model number of your notebook within that series.
There should also be a product number listed for your notebook which according to the specs is 3C467PA#ACJ.

Since this is a peer-to-peer forum and we don't work for or represent HP, you would have to call HP customer service to see if that would be possible.
If it is possible, HP will probably charge you more than you would pay for a new notebook with better hardware already installed.
