HP Notebook - 17-by1955cl

My laptop has literally popped apart.  I purchased it in March of 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic when I was sent home to work. I purchased from an online store, have proof of purchase with dates, receipts ,etc and Hp will not assist. They tell me my warranty is expired despite my purchase date! I tried appealing but they won't help.  I open once and close once at the end of day.  It has literally popped apart and is truly only together with one wire. Has anyone else had this issue? Why will the not honor my warranty and as a manufacturer, they should be embarrassed by the poor quality of this product!  It's never been dropped ,hit, or abused in any other way!

I want to thank you for taking the time to speak to us today.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that
here.
