Product: HP ZBook Fury 15 G7
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop randomly shuts off after the newest BIOS update 01.17.00. The error states "HP Endpoint Security Controller Problem" HP sure start detected a write access failure in the HP Endpoint Security Controller and then laptop restarts. I have found out that downgrade to previous version of BIOS, in my case it is 1.15.00 prevents this issue. So do you know how to block automatic Windows BIOS update?

This has been resolved by HP by releasing a new firmware version for BIOS 1.18.01
