HP 15-DA0XXX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello all,

I have an HP-DA0XXX laptop and since a few updates ago (would say within the last 2-3 months), it has slowed down incredibly.

Last night I recorded the CPU up at 85%, Memory at 58% and Disk at 20%. I believe this is quite high.

What do I need to do to help correct this? If possible anyways.

While the CPU reading is indeed high, that is in response to tasks running, possibly in the background.

To find out what is running, you need to launch Task Manager.  You do that by right-clicking on the destop and selecting Task Manager.

Once that window opens, click the Performance tab and then the CPU at the top left.  That will show you the overall CPU usage.

To see the details, select the Processes tab and click on the top of the CPU column.  This will list the running tasks in decreasing order by CPU usage.
