Hi turning my computer on I got boot device not found please intall operating system on ur hardisk. Hard disk (3f0) f2 system diagnostics press f2 I do a hard drive check extensive check and comes up with not available on all checks and to contact this web address. I have put in a new hardrive and I have a USB with the boot system on it but cannot get it working at all any help will be appreciated thanks in advance

I have a hp 655 laptop and recently it has a start up problem, i tried to run the start up repair and it didnt work. i tried the hp advanced system diagnostics, lunched startup diagnostics and it shows this error massage failure id: 9GDX3L-67D77K-MFKT1F-60AD03. i dnt know what that means and how to go about it. pls help

Sounds like the hard drive has failed and will need to be replaced. If you are still in warranty HP will send a replacement. If not a retail laptop SATA hard drive can be used. Just be sure to get one of at least equal capacity as the original in order to use Recovery Discs. It can be larger, but not smaller capacity.For instance if you have a 500GB hdd you could use a 750GB hdd but not a 320GB hdd.
