HP Notebook

Hello,

I was working on lab reports before an exam, and after taking my exam I opened up my laptop and it’s showing nothing but a grey screen.

I have already hard reset the computer multiple times and have even tried finding a fix on the BIOS Setup menu, but there is no “Diagnostics” tab.

I’m not sure what’s wrong with my laptop, but I need to get it fixed soon as all my lab reports are on its local disk.

P.S. I use Windows 10 operating system

Hi,

Try performing diagnostics at boot. It could be a Hard Drive problem,

Turn off the PC by holding the power button. Turn on PC and continously keep pressing ESC until startup menu appears and then press F2 to enter diagnostics. Try the fast test, or at least the hard drive test.

See if there are any hardware errors.

Let me know,

David
