Spectre x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey guys,

Hope you might be able to help me out. I've got the Spectre x360.
Many months ago, my laptop would automatically shut down when the battery was around 21~24%.
Later, it started shutting down around 30%. And yesterday, it shut down around 46%.
Under the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Window, I ran the System Fast Test - everything passed
except the result for Battery Check came back 'CANCELED'.

I looked at the details but not sure how to read it. Can I assume the below is not good?
Primary_TestresultString: WEAK
Primary_MaxError: 5
Primary_ChargeTest: False
Primary_TempAlarm: False
Primary_DeepDischarge: False
Primary_FullCharge: False
Primary_FullChargeStatus: False

Any suggestions or solution would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Thomas

Ok forgive me. I did a search and it appears this person had the same issue. I did send him/her a message to see if the problem got fixed.

I'll still wait for suggestions first before what was said in that post.

Thank you.

Just wanted to add some additional notes. I've got the HP Spectre 360 - 13 -4101dx.

I had updated to the laters BIOS version.

I reinstalled the "Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery" that was also suggested.

Reran the Batter component test and it still came back 'Canceled'.

My laptop shut down at 56% yesterday.

Zytos replied to my personal message stating his/her problem hadn't been resolved but he/she thought it might be a battery replacement issue. I bought my laptop new Oct. 2015. Is there a way to verify if it is in fact time to replace the battery?

Appreciate any suggestions still.

Thomas
