@TzortzisG good point, actually after the windows reset I downloaded but forgot to install the nvidia driver for the dedicated GPU. I have just updated but the problem still persist.
I am gonna check the integrated intel gpu as well..

@UB6424, @TzortzisG,
Ok so current status:
- I have performed a clean install of the Windows Graphics DCH driver accoring to this descriptions:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000057389/graphics.html
Unfortunately the problem still persists. - I have checked the BIOS option hybrid graphics section but apparently I could only select Hybrid graphics or UMA (there was no option to select intel or discrete). I have selected UMA tried it out, problem still persist, so I set back to Hybrid graphics.
- I am running a system test at the moment with the HP diagnostics tools and lets see. According to fast check everything is OK. I run component check on processor and memory, everything is ok. Unfortunately the only GPU related option here is the video memory and it is also OK. I hate giving up solving a problem but frankly I am close to just disable turning off the display as @UB6424 suggested...I will see after the diagnostics. I might run an extensive one
Thank you guys for your support, I really appreciate for the fast response and extensive info but unless you still have a rabbit in your hat I would just stop 😞

UMA is intel.

Actually you must use the driver Ub6424 gave you which is the HP branded one. Just go to device manager and uninstall and then install the HP one. Especially for graphics it's imperative to NOT use the intel generics.....
"We supply generic versions of graphics drivers for general purposes. Computer manufacturers might have changed the features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes to the graphics driver software or software packaging. To avoid potential installation incompatibilities, we recommend that you check first with your computer manufacturer and use the driver software provided by them. Intel recommends getting the graphics driver directly from your computer manufacturer. It's your OEM's responsibility to release a DCH driver to their own websites and to Windows Update."

Understandable..... 👍

I see. (The only reason I used the intel one is that I was already installing it when I received the link here).
Anyhow I performed a clean install with the hp driver too, but in the Bios still only the Hybrid/Uma version is available.
But still thank you for your effort and time to enlighten and help me in this matter 🙂

Paul_Tikkanen EXPERT Level 21 explains here why it's not a good idea to update directly to the Intel DCHs on machines with dual (switchable) graphics:
"Important note: If your PC has the switchable Intel/Nvidia or Intel/AMD graphics, this may cause issues with the discrete graphics adapter, based on the feedback from one of the comments at the bottom of this article. If your notebook has a switchable graphics configuration, update the Intel graphics driver at your own risk."
Take care!
P.S: On a side note I've got modern machines with the dreaded ""modern"" sleep, so I've disabled sleep for 2 years now and just run hibernate after some hours. Progress is a witch....
