HP Chromebook 14-ca003cl
Chrome OS

I was initially enthusiastic about  ChromeOS, but after using my HP Chromebook 14-ca003cl for several months I'm frustrated by the lack of a good file manager and want to replace ChromeOS with some version of Linux or, failing that, Windows. I know I can run Linux programs using an emulator (or whatever it is) but I prefer to run native Linux as the main OS.  Is this possible?

Sorry, but HP does not provide Linux support.

Your best bet in this situation is to contact the support forum for the Linux distro you are planning to use -- and ask them about the most critical issue -- drivers for the Chromebook.
