@erico is correct -- the Key should be on your paperwork received when you purchased Office, else it would have been included with your paperwork when you purchased the PC, or perhaps the information is included in an email notification you received when you purchased Office from Digital River or Microsoft.
In many cases, the "Office" software pre-installed on your computer is just "Trial" Office, that is, it can be used for a limited time and / or the features available are limited. Once you lose track of Trial software (when you reload the OS, for example), you no longer have access to the preinstalled Office software and you must (therefore) purchase Office to continue to use it.
In any event, Microsoft can help you with a lost key for purchased Office Products:
Office - Find your Office product key

Had you purchased a license activation key for Microsoft Office with the notebook?
If so, there should be a license key with the paperwork your notebook was delivered with.
If not, then all you had was the trial version that the notebooks are delivered with.
You will need to purchase a key from Microsoft or an authorized vendor to install the Office suite..

This would mean you got a trail Microsoft Office only otherwise it was a starter Microsoft Office. So do you know what it was before you refreshed your system? Otherwise if neither then you will have to buy a new Microsoft Office from Microsoft to use again.
