Hi @ak394

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand you’d like to activate Microsoft Office 2021 on your new HP Envy x360. Thank you for sharing that detail.

To guide you correctly, could you confirm a couple of points:

  • Was there any promotional offer or bundle mentioned at the time of purchase that included free Office activation? If so, please share the reference or details.
  • Have you already tried signing in with a Microsoft account on the laptop to check if Office is pre-licensed or if it’s prompting for a product key/subscription?

This will help us determine whether your device qualifies for free activation or if a separate license is required.

We're looking forward to helping you get back up and running!

Regards,

Hawks_Eye
