I purchased this Pavilon just two weeks or so ago. HP provided an update to its BIOS; I decided to allow the patch, only to find that my browser has slown down 3 to 5 seconds once more than one window is opened. Even with a single window I have a 2 or 3 second delay before a click is acknowledged. I purchased a weaker product this time, but cannot fathom why HP would provide a patch not fitting such to the character of their own product.
I can live with this, as all I do is standard browsing and video viewing, but I would never have purchased this product if I knew such a simple (recomended) patch would hobble its speed.
