My 4 year old HP Notebook - 15-da0051na has been rejected for Windows 11 yet its spec suggests it should be suitable. Does HP offer a fix for the problem as Windows 10 support ends next year.

Your notebook's Intel® Core™ i7-7500U processor does not meet Microsoft's minimum W11 processor requirements of an Intel 8th generation core processor or newer.

If you are interested in installing W11 on your PC as is, you can read this discussion for how I upgraded several HP and Dell notebook and desktop PC's that did not meet the W11 hardware requirements to W11 22H2/22H3.
You have to use the version of the Rufus utility that I zipped up and attached in the discussion (v3.18).

If the in-place upgrade fails, you should be able to clean install W11 using the bootable W11 installation flash drive you made with Rufus.

IMHO, and those of many of us other Intel 7th gen core desktop and notebook PC's, it's definitely more than adequate to run W11.
Many folks complained to Microsoft about this and asked them to reconsider the cutoff, but they refused to budge.
I'm happily running W11 23H2 on all of my 13 or so HP and Dell desktop notebook and desktop PC's by using the Rufus v3.18 utility to create a bootable W11 flash drive to upgrade to W11.
All but two of my PC's did the in-place upgrade with no problems at all.
For those two, I had to clean install W11, which was not a big deal for me, since I didn't have to reinstall too many programs or files.
Took me less than an hour to clean install, reinstall programs and files on those two.
The situation is definitely not going to change as far as Microsoft allowing any processors older than the Intel 8th gens to run W11.
