Hello

My HP laptop won t start and it does not recharge. There is no light or no noise anymore. I did the 15 sec reset but nothing. Has anyone had this problem?

Thanks

@Lauraursu, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Check Power Supply

Wall Outlet: Try another outlet.

Power Adapter:

Inspect for damage.

Try using another compatible HP charger if available.

Charging Port:

Look inside for dust, debris, or bent pins.

Clean gently with compressed air if needed.

BIOS Reset

Some HP laptops have a BIOS reset method:

Press and hold Windows + B, then press and hold the Power button for 3-5 seconds.

Release all buttons and wait.

The screen might remain black for 30–60 seconds, then the BIOS recovery screen could appear.

I suggest you refer to this guide for further troubleshooting steps: HP PCs - Computer does not turn on, start, or boot | HP® Support

I hope this helps.
