Product: HP pavilion x360

I haven’t used my laptop in probably a year. I charged it al night and was able to login just fine. The next screen to pop up was blank with the blue circle icon just spinning for a WHILE. Almost 40 minutes now. A windows update message popped up but I am unable to click anything due to the spinning blue icon. What does this mean and how can I fix it? I am terrible with computers so I apologize if this is a stupid question.

Sounds like your PC is trying to install Windows Updates and that could take a long time.

 

What does the message say on the screen?
