@lubengo27,

Thanks for reaching out to the HP Support Community! 🎉

I’m here to help you troubleshoot your issue and get things back on track. Just follow these steps below, and we’ll have you running smoothly in no time:

1. Using Windows Recovery (Advanced Startup)

Force Restart into Recovery Mode:

  • Turn off your laptop completely.
  • Turn it back on and immediately start pressing F11 (on HP laptops) repeatedly until the recovery menu appears.
  • If F11 doesn’t work, try Esc > F11, or Shift + Restart (if you can access the login screen).

Choose Recovery Options:

  • Select Troubleshoot.
  • Click Reset this PC.
  • Choose Remove everything (for a full factory reset).

Choose Reinstallation Type:

  • Select Local reinstall (if the recovery partition is intact).
  • If local reinstall doesn’t work, choose Cloud download (requires an internet connection).

Confirm and Reset:

  • Follow on-screen instructions to proceed.
  • Your laptop will reset and restart automatically.

2. Using a Bootable USB (If Recovery Mode Fails)

If F11 doesn’t work or the recovery partition is corrupted, you’ll need to create a bootable USB to reinstall Windows.

Create a Windows Installation USB

  1. Use another working PC and download the Windows Media Creation Tool from Microsoft’s website.
  2. Insert a 16GB or larger USB drive.
  3. Run the tool and choose Create installation media.
  4. Select your Windows version and language.
  5. Choose USB flash drive and let it create the bootable media.

Boot from USB

  1. Insert the USB into your laptop.
  2. Turn off the laptop.
  3. Power it on and press Esc, then F9 to open the boot menu.
  4. Select USB Drive and press Enter.
  5. Click Install Now and choose Custom Install.
  6. Delete all partitions (if you want a full factory reset).
  7. Proceed with the installation.

Final Steps After Reset

  • Install drivers from HP Support Assistant.
  • Update Windows via Windows Update.
  • Install necessary applications.

I’m pretty confident this will do the trick! But hey, if you run into any bumps along the way or need a little extra help, just give me a shout! I’ve got your back. 💪

And if this reply solved your problem (or made you feel like a tech wizard 😎), please click "Accept Solution". It helps others, and I promise I’ll do a little happy dance. 🕺 Also, if you could click 'Yes' under ‘Was this reply helpful?’—that’s like giving me a virtual high-five. 🙌

Thanks again for being awesome, and I hope you have an amazing day ahead! 🌟

Cheers,
