First off, the PC comes with Windows already activated, so there is no reason now why you should be having to activate iot.

 

Second, if you replaced the OS with something you obtained yourself, that would explain the Deactivation -- but since that replacement is almost certainly NOT and HP OEM version of Windows, you will NOT be able to reactivate it because your product key only works with HP OEM versions.

 

IF you did not replace the OS, then you can use this utility to retrieve the product key and it should work to reactivate your OS:  Showkey - Windows 10 Forums
