Would you be able to restart your machine and use the F2 hardware diagnostics options built-into the PC.

I suggest you load the BIOS/UEFI hardware diagnostics as suggested here in this video >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JXUp43ahHA

 

However, make sure you perform a Component test and the touchpad/mouse test

Done this and failed component test

 

Followed video instructions but dont get a form

We have found the root cause of your issue - since the component test of the mouse/touchpad has failed, this means that this is a hardware problem with the device. I am afraid this will need a repair/service.

 

Inform them that the mouse component test in the BIOS/UEFI has failed
