Product: Hp Pavilion 15 p045tx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
After messing up with partitions using third party software, my laptop ended up in boot failure. I need to restore my original genuine OS that came with it. And also hard drive contains heaps of data which I don't want to lose. Please advice me! Thanks in advance...!

Hi,
Specs: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04334489
Your laptop came with Windows 8.1 64 bit from factory
Did you upgrade to Windows 10 Home 64 bit previously?
Please perform extensive hard drive and memory tests from System Diagnostics UEFI by tapping F2 or ESC key as soon as you power on laptop before proceeding.
If tests PASSED, you can clean install Windows 10 Home 64 bit using Microsoft windows media creation tool by creating UEFI bootable installation USB:
https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/1950-clean-install-windows-10-a.html
Windows will be automatically activated after installation while connected to internet
Additional drivers from here:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-pavilion-15-p000-notebook-pc-series/6936226/mode...
Alternatively you can buy HP Recovery USB directly from HP support specific for your model with a cost of ~$60
There are 2 main methods to salvage data from HDD before doing clean install:
1) Create LiveCD from another computer. Boot from this disc in your laptop, then copy the files from failed HDD to another external hard drive connected to notebook.
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/LiveCD
2) Take out the failed hard drive out. Connect it to another computer using SATA to USB adapter. Use Windows explorer to copy the files you need from HDD to another external hard drive.

Chances of recovery is more for 1st method.
