What means factory installed non-windows?

Does it have advantage ? Or Disadvantage?

It comes with FreeDOS 2.0.

 

So the advantage of buying a PC with FreeDOS would be if you plan on running Ubuntu on it, or if you already have a supported windows operating system with a product key you can install on there.

 

If you have to buy Windows 10 for example, then it would be cheaper for you to buy a notebook with W10 already included, since HP pays much less for volume licensing of windows than you buying a single copy.

Its was BIOS F.42 version when i buy the notebook and it supports windows 7,8(Any version and arch 32,64bit)  And linux . After i update to F.60 version Only Windows 10(1803 and 1903) and any linux work.  Why?
