Hi,
after bricking my 15-bs530ng I need a BIOS file to manually flash it onto the BIOS flash chip via external hardware programmer.
It's really bricked, so flashing from windows or using recovery tool from USB as well as CMOS reset won't help. Tried everything. Only way is I get the file.
Can HP or someone else provide me the flashable raw file ( I guess an .bin file? ) to download please?
If not, is there a way to make a flashable file from the BIOS data contained in the BIOS recovery tool?
Hope someone can help.

Hi,
If you download the latest BIOS
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-15-bs000-laptop-pc/15551412/model/18164419
then unzip it with software such as 7zip by right-clicking on it
https://www.7-zip.org/download.html
you get insydeflash exe file
if you the unzip this file you get a folder where you can find the bin file.
Hope it helps,
David
