You're very welcome.

Go to the device manager.

Click on the PCI SImple Comms Controller needing the driver.

Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update driver.

Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.

That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp100054.

Make sure that the Include subfolders box is checked, and the driver should install that way.

Here is a partial copy and paste of the driver setup information file, which shows driver support for the hardware ID you posted:

[Intel.NTamd64.10.0...16299]
; DisplayName Section DeviceId
%TEE_DeviceDesc%=TEE_DDI_x64, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9CBA ;ME10.x - BDW/WPT-LP
%TEE_DeviceDesc%=TEE_DDI_x64, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9D3A ;ME11.x - SKL/SPT-LP, KBL/SPT-LP

Thank you for the prompt response Paul. I appreciate your time. The PCI driver that you suggested unfortunately returns in error “ this driver is not supported by this OS 10.0.2261”

Please advise

Hi:

For the PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9D27, you need this driver:

Intel Serial IO Driver

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp100001-100500/sp100187.exe

For the 8086&DEV_9D35, you need this driver:

Intel Integrated Sensor Solution Driver

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp100001-100500/sp100139.exe

For the 8086&DEV_9D21, you need this driver.  Install this driver first and restart the PC.

Intel Chipset Installation Utility

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp101001-101500/sp101171.exe

The above driver may also install the PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9D31device too.

If not, you need this driver for the PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9D31 device:

Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Client Driver

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp100001-100500/sp100093.exe
